Recipe: Tired of Offering Thin, Watery Milk?

In 1976, my wife and son and I moved to the Port Royal, PA farm (now called Gītā Nagarī). One thing that I liked about living there was the thick, creamy milk which we got from Kṛṣṇa’s Brown Swiss cows. In comparison, the milk from the local grocery store is thin and watery. Here’s my solution:

1. Pour 1 cup of half and half into a microwavable wide-mouthed (5 ½") “coffee cup.”

2. Stir in ½ teaspoon of sugar.

3. Microwave until it starts to boil. (I do it automatically by pressing the beverage button on my GE “Sensor” microwave oven.)

4. Offer and serve while hot.
