Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
In reference to your recent editorial on VNN (http://www.vnn.org/editorials/ET9904/ET14-3593.html), “Did he or didn’t he?” is not so important. The fact is, Śrīla Prabhupāda set up a system for initiations which worked very well. Whether or not Śrīla Prabhupāda ordered that it be continued “post samādhi,” or he simply suggested it, or he left it up to the GBC, is irrelevant. The point is that ISKCON’s current system of initiations goes against all common sense! No matter how many stop-gap measures the GBC passes to try to fix it, it ain’t gonna work! It’s the cause of most of ISKCON’s problems, and is the main contributor to the horrendous child abuse which has occurred within ISKCON.
Going back to the time-and-place-circumstance-adjusted, common-sense, tried-and-true, “ritvik” system, which Śrīla Prabhupāda himself established, is the obvious solution! No matter how much you, the ISKCON “gurus,” and the GBC argue against it, it’s what’s going to happen, and that’s that. It’s inevitable, so why fight it? It’s obvious that it will work, so why not surrender to it, and re-implement this incredibly ingenious system, a system which Śrīla Prabhupāda himself implimented within his beloved ISKCON?
Why not re-implement Śrīla Prabhupāda’s ritvik system of initiations sooner, rather than later? The longer that the GBC delays the inevitable, the worse it’s going to look for them, and the worse the reaction that each and every one of them is destined to receive.

We, as disciples of his Divine Grace, must also become expert in this art, so that Lord Caitanya’s Sankirtan movement may spread all over the world with renewed vigor!
